The future

The Council’s Housing Strategy 2022-2027 sets out the housing priorities for the Borough over the next five years.

It has been developed following extensive consultation, the completion of a housing needs assessment and workshops with key housing providers to ensure homes in the Borough are aligned to demand and need as well as supporting the Borough’s economic growth.

Good quality homes and offering choice in terms of location and price, are key priorities for communities, Council and partners.
