An apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to earn a wage, whilst also gaining work experience and a qualification. Apprenticeships give people of all ages an opportunity to ‘earn and learn’ with many apprentices going on to secure full time employment at the end of their training.

Knowsley has its own Apprenticeship scheme matching local people with local opportunities. Now in its 15th year, the Knowsley Apprenticeship Programme has supported more than 1,600 young people in the borough to gain valuable skills, training and employment.

Around 100 vacancies are advertised each year, providing a great opportunity for young people to combine learning and work across a range of different job roles, organisations and industrial sectors
