We know from our consultation that some people are concerned that there is a lack of affordable homes to buy in Knowsley – specifically within some of the new housing developments in the area.

In fact, as part of planning conditions developers are required to ensure that a percentage of homes on each new development are classed as affordable. The Council works closely with developers to maximise the numbers of affordable homes that are created on each development.
