Twelve people with a passion for crafts and recycling have so far been through the project, with a further 12 due to take part. As well as developing skills, participants have reported a boost to their confidence (90% of participants) as well as providing a sense of satisfaction, and reducing social isolation. All enjoyed the social engagement aspect of the programme. Two participants have gone on into full-time employment and another has been supported to enrol onto a further education course. Another outcome is the amount of furniture that has been brought back into use and preventing items going to landfill.
